IECC Launches Steps to Success Campaign
Frontier Community, Lincoln Trail, Olney Central and Wabash Valley colleges are simplifying scholarship awards for incoming high school students with Steps to Success.
“We are streamlining the process to make it as easy as possible for parents and students, so it is less daunting for everyone involved,” said Krystle Riggle, Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Director of Financial Aid. “This is something we have all been working toward that will be a great benefit to our students.”

IECC Receives $719,381 Grant to Expand Access to Education Through Synchronous Lecture Halls
Illinois Eastern Community Colleges (IECC) is pleased to announce the receipt of a $719,381 grant from the United States Department of Agriculture, aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for students across its multi-college system. The grant will fund the creation of 12 state-of-the-art Synchronous Lecture Halls, designed to connect students to faculty members and educational programs at different geographic locations.

OCC Summer 2023 LPN Graduates Achieve 100-Percent Pass Rate
챬’s Summer 2023 LPN graduates achieved a perfect 100-percent pass rate on the NCLEX examination.
“The pass rate for 2023 LPNs at 챬 is reflective of the hard work and dedication of our nursing faculty and students,” said IECC Dean of Health Professions Dr. Alani Frederick. “With an emphasis on clinical judgment and the application of nursing knowledge, the faculty at Olney Central are preparing students to work in a modern and complex healthcare environment.”

Cast Named for Lincoln Trail College's Production of God of Carnage
Lincoln Trail College Theater Director Taylor Dahlberg has named the cast for The Arts at Lincoln Trail College’s production of God of Carnage.
The part of Alan Raleigh will be played by Lincoln “Jake” Wright while Annette Raleigh will be played by Grae Drake. Brennan Tracy plays the part of Michael Novak and Rachel Carter plays Veronica Novak.

Learn life-changing money management strategies with financial expert Dr. Linda Simpson during a lunch and learn event on Sept. 25 at 챬.
Simpson’s presentation Creating a New Money Mindset promotes financial goal setting, mindful and emotional spending and teaches individuals how to assess their own current financial situation. The goal is to assist individuals in understanding the reasons behind their money management behaviors and to help them build a solid, sustainable financial plan.

Dahlberg Named Lincoln Trail College Theater Director
Lincoln Trail College has named Taylor Dahlberg its new Theater Director. In this role, Dahlberg will be responsible for directing LTC productions, facilitating Summer Children’s Theatre, managing the Zwermann Performing Arts Center, and occasionally teaching theater classes.
