LTC Prepares for Spring 2023 Registration
Spring 2023 semester registration opens October 18 at Frontier Community, Lincoln Trail, Olney Central and Wabash Valley colleges. Current students are invited to schedule an advising appointment. Advising information can be found at www.iecc.edu/advisement or by contacting the numbers below.

Register Now for Fall Mid-Semester Courses
Íøºì±¬ÁÏ is offering several fall mid-semester classes starting Oct. 14.
Mid-semester courses are ideal for students who may have dropped a class earlier in the semester or for those who want to complete a course in just 8 weeks.
Face-to-face classes include:
ART 1141 Cinema Appreciation, 1 to 3:50 p.m. on Friday
BUS 1101 Introduction to Business, noon to 12:50 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday
CHM 1115 Chemistry & Society, 9 to 10:50 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

PTK Creates New Student Lounge
Íøºì±¬ÁÏ students have a new place to relax and grab a snack between classes — The Keep Student Lounge.
Located in Room 207A on Wattleworth Hall’s second floor, the newly dedicated student space includes study tables, comfy chairs, a microwave, a fully-stocked refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. Students also have access to a food pantry with microwaveable meals and a variety of snack items. The room is available to all students from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Julie Harrolle Receives Juanita Harris Nursing Scholarship
The family of Íøºì±¬ÁÏ nursing graduate Juanita Harris chose to honor her legacy by presenting a scholarship in her memory to a second-year Associate Degree Nursing student. Julie Harrolle, of Olney, is the recipient of the $1,200 monetary award, which can be used for tuition, fees, books, travel or other college-related expenses.

LTC, IECC Celebrates Adult Education and Family Literacy Week
September 19th through September 23rd, 2022 is Adult Education and Family Literacy Awareness week. The Illinois Eastern Community College Adult Education Program is committed to helping students succeed and strengthen their communities. By providing students with an opportunity to receive free High School Equivalency classes that focus on academics, college and career readiness, and English as a Second Language classes, IECC offers individuals a chance to reach their goals.

Priority Deadline October 28
OLNEY, Ill. — Frontier Community, Lincoln Trail, Olney Central and Wabash Valley colleges are encouraging high school seniors to apply before the October 28 Priority Deadline to ensure they are first in line for scholarship dollars.
Last year, Illinois Eastern Community Colleges awarded more than $272,000 in Success Scholarships to 408 area students.

LTC Hosting Flute and Guitar Concert
The Arts at Lincoln Trail College will present an evening of guitar and flute music featuring Michael Patilla and Sophie Kershaw-Patilla. The concert takes place on September 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Zwermann Arts Center Theater.
The concert features music by William Beauvais, Mauro Giuliani, Nikita Koshkin, Manuel Ponce, Andrew York, and others.
